واجهات المباني الواقعة بباب الفتوح في منطقة مسجد الحاكم، وعددها (٤٩) مبنى بحالة جيدة ومتوسطة ومباني ذات طابع أثري فريد، بالإضافة إلى ترميم (١٠) مباني أثرية واستغلال عدد من مساحات الأراضي، وإزالة وبناء وحدات سكنية وتجارية جديدة (٨٣) بُنيت في المنطقة. جارٍ العمل على إنشاء مشروع فندق تراثي يطل على شارع المعز وباب الفتوح.
MCG managed the restoration of 49 building facades surrounding Al-Hakim Mosque — including structures in good, medium, and uniquely archaeological condition. Ten historic buildings were fully restored, and new residential and commercial units were constructed to revitalize this iconic area of Historic Cairo.
