the facades of the buildings located Bab Al-Futuh in the area of Al- Hakim Mosque, and their number is (49) buildings of good and medium condition and buildings of a unique archaeological nature, in addition to the restoration of (10) archaeological buildings and the exploitation of a number of land Space, removal and construction of new residential and commercial units (83) built in the area. Work is underway to construct a heritage hotel project overlooking Al Moez Street and Bab Al Fotouh. ê ï ç æ î é 94 MCG managed the restoration of 49 building facades surrounding Al-Hakim Mosque — including structures in good, medium, and uniquely archaeological condition. Ten historic buildings were fully restored, and new residential and commercial units were constructed to revitalize this iconic area of Historic Cairo.
