The Giza Zoo Development and Restoration project aimed to preserve and enhance one of the oldest and most important zoological gardens in Africa and the Middle East. Located in the heart of Giza, the zoo houses a diverse collection of wildlife and historic botanical gardens. The restoration work focused on improving animal habitats, renovating historic structures, upgrading visitor facilities, and implementing modern conservation standards while preserving the zoo’s unique architectural and landscape heritage that dates back to the late 19th century.
