Antoniades Historical Garden

Antoniades Gardens is the oldest in the city of Alexandria in Egypt and is one of the oldest gardens created by humans worldwide “Some historians date back to the Ptolemaic era in Egypt as Haant is within the suburb of Ilozis or the so-called Jannat of Bliss. This suburb was marked by important historical events of the Ptolemaic monarchs in the 19th century. She was known as Bastiria Gardens until she was owned by Muhammad Ali Pasha and set up a palace for him.
