This royal residence, built during the reign of the Muhammad Ali dynasty, required extensive restoration work to address structural deterioration and restore its original grandeur. MCG implemented specialized conservation techniques to preserve the palace&#8217;s unique architectural elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the renovation, original wall and ceiling colors that had been obscured during the building&#8217;s use as a school were rediscovered. The palace was subsequently rehabilitated and repurposed as a Digital Creativity Center under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
