This unique Hindu-inspired architectural masterpiece, built in the early 20th century, underwent extensive structural rehabilitation, interior restoration, and exterior conservation. MCG implemented specialized techniques to preserve the palace&#8217;s distinctive architectural elements while preparing it for its new function as a cultural exhibition space showcasing the history of Heliopolis and its founder, Baron Empain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restoration work began in 2017 after comprehensive studies and was completed in 2020 with a total investment of approximately 200 million Egyptian pounds.
