The main branch of the Bank of Egypt is the first bank branch established in Egypt by the leader Talaat Harb Pasha in 1920 AD. The building is distinguished by a unique architectural style, which was taken into account during the design process. The first phase of developing the branch includes the ground floor, mezzanine floor, basement, roof, and external facades. The proposed design idea aims to reuse some of the internal spaces without affecting the current use of the branch. The design idea includes creating some spaces that can be used to benefit the bank as follows: 1. Exploiting the main lobby space to display some of the museum’s main pieces and creating halls to serve VIP individuals and VIP companies. 2. Increasing the area for museum display, as it includes the current spaces and some administrative spaces that have been reused and provided with the latest museum display technologies, interactive screens, and the use of the latest technology in displaying artifacts.
